Changing conditions
Traffic, latency, provider limits and system pressure vary across time.
The independent, payload-blind operational governor for commercial AI and API systems.
Published rate limits are not the same thing as usable operational capacity. Traffic arrives in bursts, services slow down, queue pressure builds, retries compound congestion and the safe operating envelope changes.
Conventional gateways can route, retry and enforce thresholds. Astutus is being developed to recognise changes in behavioural state and continuously adjust how workloads are admitted, paced and managed.
The point: help organisations extract reliable, usable capacity from AI services without having to see the content of customer prompts.
Traffic, latency, provider limits and system pressure vary across time.
Fixed ceilings and repeated retries may amplify instability during overload.
Conservative static settings can leave capacity unused when conditions improve.
Astutus is designed as an independent operational layer alongside existing AI and API services—not another model and not a prompt-processing wrapper.
Latency · errors · rate limits · throughput · queue pressure
Detect change, estimate pressure and select bounded responses
Admit · delay · prioritise · retry · throttle · route
The initial Astutus product is focused on enterprises operating AI-intensive applications through third-party or self-hosted APIs. Its value proposition is operational: improve workload stability, resilience and effective capacity under variable demand.
The first commercial path is a standalone governor: product hardening, repeatable benchmarking, security work, controlled enterprise evaluations and then paid deployments where results justify adoption.
This route does not depend on a specific GPU provider, AI factory operator or infrastructure partnership.
A deployable operational control layer for enterprise AI service traffic.
Defined workload tests, comparisons with established controls and independent replication.
Potential applications in AI compute environments and distributed operational systems.
Internal stress tests have informed Astutus' development and demonstrated promising workload-specific behaviour. Results depend on baselines, traffic profiles and test conditions. They are not presented here as independently validated production outcomes.
Our evidence programme is designed to distinguish unmanaged traffic from fixed controls and adaptive governance, and to measure errors, response times, throughput and completion under comparable workloads.
Request a technical discussion ↗No. It is designed to govern the operational behaviour of AI and API traffic. Its payload-blind approach seeks to work from telemetry and control-state signals rather than prompt content.
The objective is to complement existing infrastructure. Exact integration depends on the deployment and may overlap with some gateway controls; differentiation must be demonstrated under comparable workloads.
No. The standalone AI/API governor is the initial commercial focus. AI-factory optimisation and other infrastructure opportunities are separate expansion and validation routes.
